From jungles to jet lag, follow along as I chase beauty, chaos, and the occasional perfect sunset
A Tale of Two Tropics: One Week in the DR, Two Weeks in Costa Rica
Spring 2025 was one for the books: one week in the Dominican Republic to kick things off, then over two weeks in Costa Rica where adventure basically had me on speed dial. I cruised down the Sierpe River—one of the most biodiverse places on earth—Zip-lined through the jungle, hiked through slot caves, rivers, and ended up at waterfalls that looked too perfect to be real. From coast to coast, Costa Rica gave me sunsets, wildlife, landscapes, and just enough good food to keep me going (though it won’t make my top three food countries—sorry, not sorry). If you need proof that ‘pura vida’ is more than just a slogan, these stories, photos, and videos are it.
Passport, Snacks, and a Blog
From beaches to jungles, missed flights to unforgettable sunsets — here’s where my travel stories finally get unpacked.

A spider with long, black, and yellow legs is feeding on an insect caught in its web amidst green foliage.
A black bird with a bright red patch on its wing sitting on a tree branch with green leaves, blurred background.
